Title: Two Things (Three Things)
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] siennavie
Rating: FRT - Teen for mild language
Word Count: ~32,000
Warnings: crossover w/ Criminal Minds per recipient request, mild language,
Author Notes: Super thanks to my mom for helping me get this put together! Despite having little knowledge of the fandoms, she did a great job making sure this wasn't compelely cracky. Sorry I have little knowledge of tennis; I did the best I could with Google. Also, super thanks to the mods for putting this together and being really great about working with me. I have loved reading entries every year and am glad I got to write this year. Also, I have problems being long-winded. I intended this to be a short story, but the road to hell and all.

Summary: Written for the prompts: 1) If Gwen and Mark Campbell had met Sam and Dean under different circumstances; 2) For a case, Sam and Dean have to pose as a doubles team in a country club tennis competition; and 3) Hotch (Agent Aaron Hotchner from Criminal Minds) unintentionally crosses paths with the Winchester Brothers. Set during Season 2 SPN with references to later seasons and Season 2 Criminal Minds.

Title: Finding Linda Tran
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] mako_lies
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 21,844
Warnings: language, abuse of scene changes
Author's Notes: I had a lot of fun writing this story, and I really hope it makes more sense than it did to me when I was doing my final edit, because I kinda ran out of time to fix it. I’d like to thank the mods for running this gift exchange, and for the extension, and mako_lies for the prompt—seriously, so much fun writing this, when Kevin was a character I’d never considered writing before. I hope I managed to steer clear of your dislikes and hit at least some of your likes, and that you at least sort of enjoy this humble little (completely massive) offering.

I’m sorry it’s so long?

Summary: A day (or more) in the Un-life of a Prophet of the Lord. At some point, those are actually supposed to get easier, right?

Title: crack me open
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] gluisa88
Rating: T
Word Count or Media: 2950
Warnings:

possibly uncomfortable lack of personal space, and abundance of violence/dysfunction between the boys

Author's Notes: More a somewhat disjointed series of vignettes than a retelling of a story.
Summary: Written to prompts - "Prison break ish - Dean is on death row for a crime he didn't commit- Sam gets himself thrown into prison so he can help Dean escape" and "Outsider POV where Sam and Dean are awkward/terrifying/socially clueless/way too codependent (not wincest but the outsider finds their codependency uncomfortable). Perhaps Sam and Dean can sense that they are making the outsider uncomfortable and try to behave more "normal", but only succeed in being more awkward/terrifying/socially clueless or whatever."

Prison changes a person like war doesn’t - it doesn’t help that they’ve been through both by the time Sam breaks Dean out. They’re both a bit tattered - it doesn’t always show outwardly, but sometimes they get weird looks.

Title: Charmer & Gentle
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] gray_glance
Rating: PG-13
Word Count or Media: ~3800
Warnings: very vague reference to canonical (s10) character death
Author's Notes: For the prompt: The night shift at Walgreens Cenex in Lebanon, Kansas has gotten really interesting the last couple years. Takes place from mid-s8 to the end of s10. Lebanon is so small that it doesn't even have a functioning grocery store, let alone a Walgreens! So I hope a gas station will do. Thank you for the incredible prompts, and thank you, mods, for running this again!
Summary: The afternoon girl calls them Big and Tall, the strangers who come in late every now and then, buying this or that. The night girl doesn't think those names fit quite right.

Title: I’ll Follow You Into the Dark
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] astarloa
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Bad language, angst
Word Count: 9,346
Author's Notes: Thank you to my beta – she knows who she is. Title taken from Death Cab for Cutie’s song of the same name. Fic written for this prompt: Steampunk-ish AU of “Faith” where Sam’s search for a way to save his brother doesn’t lead to Reverend Roy Le Grange. Instead, they hole up at Bobby’s and Sam sets about building Dean a new heart from scrap metal he finds in the salvage yard, combined with a little magic. Any anime fans will recognise the other characters in the story. I’m still not sure how they got dragged into this tale, but (like Sam and Dean) they don’t belong to me...

Summary: The fear that drenches him is ice cold when he hears Bobby sigh. ‘I know you’ll be working your ass off, Sam, but I don’t know how much longer he’s got left.’ Dean is still dying after refusing to let Reverend Roy LeGrange heal him, but Sam’s not about to give up on him so easily. Dean says ‘no sacrifices’, but when it comes to saving each other, all bets are off. This is a story of brotherly love and devotion where Dean is Dean and Sam is indomitable. Oh, and Bobby’s awesome, too.

Title: Make Something Up

Rating: PG
Word Count: 1818
Warnings: None
Author's Notes: Thank you to my ever-loving beta, you know who you are. For the prompt requesting stories behind old photos of the Winchesters we never see on the show. Hope you enjoy, viviansface!

Summary: When Sam is eleven, he's given an assignment at school - create a timeline of your life, using five family photos as a guide. Except the Winchester family photos went up in flames, and the few that still exist are with his father, god only knows where. So, Sam does what he does best - he improvises.

Title: Is This Iowa?
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] tammyrenh
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~5,225
Warnings: Spoilers thru Season 10 finale, show-level language, shameless personal wish fulfillment on the part of the author, mild angst (because Winchesters) and irreverent theology (because Supernatural.)
Author’s Note: I’m not sure this is what the prompter had in mind with the amazing prompts supplied, but I hope it’s enjoyable to read nonetheless.

Summary: “The Winchesters are all about family. Let’s go with that.”

Title: We're Going to Be Friends
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] spn_summergen (submissions whose recipients defaulted are gifted to the community)

Rating: G
Word Count: ~1600
Warnings: Brief mentions of canon compliant violence (Winchester's hunting)
Notes: The title comes from the song We're Going to  Be Friends by the White Stripes.  It is a very sweet song and well worth listening to.  Thank you to the mods who put in all the hard work to make this exchange happen. My eternal thanks to [livejournal.com profile] elwarre for betaing this story, and make it so much better than it would have been otherwise.  Thank you as well to two people in my real life who helped beta and improve this story immensely.

Summary: Pre-series, wee!chesters, a young Sam and Dean spend time with Ellen and Jo while their dad is out on a hunt.

Title: Close Your Eyes
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] zubeneschamali
Rating: PG-13 for language
Word Count: 3932
Warnings/Spoilers: Obviously, spoilers for the S10 finale.
A/N: My take on the prompt below the cut, adjusted to work in the canon that the Veil is still intact and therefore any Heaven-bound soul would still be wandering it along with Kevin and all the rest. Many, many thanks to the summergen mods for granting me leniency with the due date so I could try to recreate the majority of this after I lost over half of it when my laptop decided to go the way of all vengeful spirits. ☹ Hopefully it’s still somewhat acceptable.

Original Prompt: Dean goes through with it and kills Sam, and Death puts him…not in outer space, exactly. Somewhere more like a cage. Meanwhile, Sam's up in Heaven trying to find Bobby and gather allies to break Dean out of wherever Death put him. (In other words: Silly Death. As if being dead will stop Sam Winchester from looking for his brother.)
