Author's Notes: Ok, there are so many things I want to say, but this thing is already massive, so I’m going to try to keep it short. First, thanks to the mods for being so understanding and supportive! Y’all are awesome. And, second, thanks to lyryk for the awesome prompts. I had a lot of fun—maybe even a little too much fun—writing this story. That said, it’s not precisely the story I started out to write, and it’s probably not the story you were expecting, lyryk, but I hope you like anyway. Prompt: Preseries – why did wee!Sam appear so nonchalant when Dean had been sent to the home for boys and was supposedly missing? I’d love something along the lines of John having to wipe Sam’s memory or doing something drastic to make him stop panicking about what had happened to Dean.
