Pinch Hitters Needed

Not yet...but we need pinch-hitters every year.

Pinch-hitters are writers willing to step in and take over a set of prompts if one of our writers has to drop out. They are the people who help the mods make sure everyone in Summergen received a story. They are heroes!

To be a pinch-hitter you need to be able to write really fast because while deadlines are a bit more flexible for pinch-hits, by definition there is less time to write.

If you are interested in pinch-hitting for summergen this year, please join and watch our sister community spn_genpinchhit. You must JOIN the community, not just 'friend' it, because all the requests for pinch-hitters will be locked.

You won't be assigned a pinch hit automatically, so there's no danger of getting an assignment you don't want. When we have a writer drop out we'll post the prompt set in spn_genpinchhit. The first person to claim will be assigned that set. Pinch hit deadlines are assigned individually.
