The Summergen Deadline is fast approaching; I hope everyone is happily scribbling away! (Unless, of course, you've already turned in your gift, in which case, go to the beach! You've earned it!)

Just a little reminder, we have two deadlines, a soft one and a hard one. We would LOVE for you to hit the soft deadline of JULY 15, but if you need a little extra time, you officially have until the hard deadline of JULY 22 to turn in your fanwork.

If you fear you will need an extension beyond JULY 22, you must request it ON OR BEFORE JULY 15. If we don't hear from you, and nothing shows up in our email from you by the last time zone on JULY 22, you will be considered in default and may not be allowed to participate in future Summergens. (We're not completely heartless, though; if something unexpected and/or dire pops up at the last minute, drop us a line. We'd far rather have you finish than not!) If you do not turn in a gift, the gift created for you will become a present to the community. Good deeds never go unheralded!
