Title: On His Own
Recipient: reggie11
Rating: T
Warnings: Pedophilia, nudity, mild violence
Author's Notes: First, I'd like to apologize to the residents of Springfield, MO. Besides street names, you're probably not going to recognize your city or MSU. So I'm sorry. Second, reggie11 asked for kidnapped Sam. And I don’t think this is what you had in mind, but I really hope you enjoy it anyway.
Word count: approx. 10,800
Summary: Sam really just wanted to play soccer.

Well... it's not the apocalypse...

Hey guys, guys. Come over here… *whispers sheepishly*
Ummm… sorry. Not sure what to say, or what happened, but… SUMMERGEN’S NOT OVER YET. Remember how I said I couldn’t understand how my math could have been so off, that we were finishing so much earlier than expected? Well… my math wasn’t off. We have 12 more fics to post.
Which… YAY! I mean, really, more fabulous fic is GOOD, right? Anyway, sorry for the psych-out. We can’t figure out exactly what happened. My best guess is that there was some kind of glitch with our Google Docs spreadsheet that caused 12 fics that have not been posted to be marked as complete. (I have officially decided that Google Docs is Satan. Can someone get Sam to come and drag it into its cage in Hell, please? Much appreciated.) It has to have happened sometime after I announced the halfway point and we added Saturday postings.
Thanks to the two participants—you know who you are—who very gently nudged us to make sure everything was OK… so we could find out in time that it wasn’t. Never fear! We have meticulously double-checked everything, and we have everyone’s lovely fics in our hot little hands, and we will set them up to post over the next two weeks. If you haven’t received your gift or seen the fic you wrote posted yet, we have it and it will get posted, but if you’d like reassurance, feel free to e-mail us at supernaturalsummergen @ gmail .com or PM me, and I’ll gladly double-check it for you.
So stay with us, please. I’m excited to keep reading. There’s so much awesomeness still to come. I feel bad, but hey, at least I didn’t accidentally start the apocalypse… :-}

Author’s Notes: I wanted to let
ratherastory know that I would’ve never written so much (could’ve written more if not for time constraints) if I wasn’t trying to do the great prompt provided justice. I hope you enjoy the story! You shared some great ideas! I want to also thank my beta
amber1960for her kind help. You are awesome! You really helped me clarify some story points and offered great suggestions.
Summary: The prompt was based on what might have happened to Castiel and the Winchesters after “Do You Believe in Miracles?” the season 9 finale. With specific emphasis on how Castiel is affected by the events.
