in truth, she misses sentience. she misses the vibration of a soul in its body, now her body, a soul finding terror as it kicks out, finds nothing but smoke. a demon can possess a body but true possession requires a soul it requires more than this one has to give (and are you happy, sam?)

Gorgeous!! I like the way all the little lines come together to form a greater picture, almost like pointillism, only ... linetillism?? And the strong, determined look on her face. She looks bound in her acrobat outfit as poor Ruby seems to be eternally. Great job, anon!

oooh, I love this, both the art and the prose poem. They go beautifully together, and are a heartrending portrayal of an alternate Ruby that I find thoroughly believable. Gorgeous! Great job.

Ahhhh, Ruby. Much love to her. <3 Even in canon I feel like Ruby was a lot more interested in Sam than Sam was in her; I think it might have been interesting to see her act on that in defiance of Lucifer. But I can see why Lucifer would be hard to walk away from, as a demon. XD I'm glad you enjoyed this, bb!
